GOTZE MIGHT LEAVE FCB AFTER AGENTS RANT, ARSENAL BID

Arsenal are reported to be keeping tabs on Mario Gotze's situation at Bayern Munich after his agent hit out at the Bavarians.

Gotze's agent, Volker Struth, has slammed the club for not supporting his client enough last season and that has kicked off suggestions a move could be on the cards with both the Gunners and Manchester United said to be keen.

Gotze, who won the World Cup back in 2014 with Germany, scored 14 goals for Pep Guardiola's side last year, but he was in and out of the team throughout the campaign.
Speaking ahead of the new campaign, Struth claims he should have been given more game time.

"Of course I would have liked if Mario had felt more support in one or two situations," He told Bild am Sonntag. "I am fully convinced that when Mario feels this support, it is easier for him to show his incredible potential. Then he is one of the best players in the world.  Of course he was disappointed and that did bother him. As a player, you are always wondering 'why did I not start?' "That is why Mario moved to Bayern - to be playing in these big matches and to win titles."

If Gotze does not get the assurances he is looking for ahead of the new season, there is chance he could look to move on, with the Gunners said to be waiting in the wings with an offer.
