Micheal Jordan: ‘Kobe Stole All My Moves’

It’s no secret that Kobe Bryant has high regard for Michael Jordan, with the Los Angeles Lakers star imitating the Chicago Bulls legend in his NBA career. In a recent interview, Jordan admitted that he’s fine with Bryant doing his moves and that he likes Bryant, whom he believes is one of the best in the game.

"Actually, Kobe and I are good friends. I like Kobe. We talk a lot. I hope he comes back healthy. I think he's one of the great players of the game. I think he's done a lot for the game and he has a true love for the game of basketball,” Jordan said at the Michael Jordan Flight School basketball camp in California, as reported by sportingnews.com.


“I absolutely have a high regard for him ... even though he stole all my moves, but that's OK. I still love him like a brother."

It’s public knowledge that Bryant considers Jordan his role model in the NBA and has never denied it in the past. From on-court gestures to post-ups and even to tongue wagging, Bryant has shown Jordan-like moves throughout his career. In the Q&A portion of the camp, Jordan was also queried about other players including LeBron James and Stephen Curry, two of the brightest stars in the league today.

“Well, I'd go against Stephen Curry because I'm a little bit bigger than him so I could back him in, but LeBron's a little bit too big,” Jordan answered.

“If I was in my prime, could I beat LeBron in a one-on-one game? No question. And he's going to say no question.”

Jordan, who was named to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class in 2009, is a six-time NBA champion, five-time Most Valuable Player and six-time NBA Finals MVP.
