Victor Moses has officially put pen to paper on a new four-year deal at Chelsea before completing a season long loan switch to fellow London side West Ham United.
Jose Mourinho had previously claimed the Nigerian winger would be given the chance to impress at Stamford Bridge after a strong pre-season.
But following an injury and the introduction of Pedro from Barcelona, the 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order, however the new deal ensures he still has a future at the Blues.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Victor Moses has today signed a new four-year contract with Chelsea and will spend the remainder of this season on loan at West Ham United."Moses joined Chelsea in 2012 and went on to help the Blues lift the Europa League title, scoring four goals in the knockout stages to help a Rafa Benitez led side to the final.
