Since joining the Gunners from Southampton nine years ago, Walcott has been used primarily on the right winger, however, the England international is prepared to play anywhere across the frontline to help his side next season, as long he has chances in front of goal.
The 26-year-old is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates, as he approaches his testimonial year and will be hoping for an injury free season to ensure he nails down the pay rise he is asking for in a new deal.
As reported in the Daily Mirror, he said: “I’ll play anywhere, but it’s well documented where I want to play.
“Up front there is a lot of competition, but in the modern-day game the three up front tend to change around a lot.
